Originally released as part of IZCO’s debut album earlier this year, Tek Control paired the East London producer with the unmistakable vocals of Liam Bailey, whose genre-spanning career has seen him work with some of pop music’s most celebrated producers. Now, FELIXCW takes the original into deeper territory, delivering a bass-driven remix that amplifies the track’s dub influences while retaining the soul at its core.
Speaking about the remix, IZCO says:
“I love working with Liam, we’ve played the glade dome at Glasto a couple years in a row and it’s always special, we always make a load of dubs and specials just for the set.
And the link up with FELIXCW only makes sense, one of my close mates (Brighter Days Family) and the last time us 3 linked up for a track was ‘Heavysoul’ so it’s about time we got another one. Deep in the dub, this one’s heavy”
