Following the release of his acclaimed debut album POWERSCROFT on 1 May 2026, London producer IZCO returns today with ‘Strike a Pose (feat. Camille Munn) [Karen Nyame KG Remix]’, a vibrant reimagining of one of the album’s standout tracks by one of the UK’s most exciting club music innovators.
Dubbed the “Goddess of Rhythm,” Karen Nyame KG brings her signature fusion of African polyrhythms, low-end sub-basses and energetic drum patterns to the remix, transforming ‘Strike a Pose’ into a high-energy club banger while retaining the spirit of the original.Â
Drawing from a musically rich upbringing, KG’s sound reflects London’s ever-evolving club music landscape, seamlessly weaving together influences from South African house and amapiano to US Jersey Club. Her collaborative work across global and diasporic dance music has established her as one of the most distinctive voices shaping the future of UK club culture.
The track was originally released as part of POWERSCROFT, which marked a significant milestone for IZCO, whose work has made him a defining figure within London’s cross-genre underground scene. Over the years, he has collaborated with artists including Reek0, Greentea Peng, Sam Wise, Liam Bailey and Novelist, while performing at renowned venues and festivals across the UK and Europe. As both a producer and artist, IZCO has earned a reputation for bringing together genres and communities, creating music that feels equally at home in the club, on festival stages and through headphones.
Speaking about the remix, Karen Nyame KG said:
“I’ve been a huge Brighter Days Family fan since foreverr, lol love the whole squadddd! It was such an honour when IZCO thought of me for the Strike a Pose remix. The original’s a BANGER, so I had to give my all with my interpretation! Definitely one of 2026’s highlights.”
IZCO added:
“One of my fav tunes from the album, touched by the Goddess of Rhythm herself. First time I heard this I went mad! Thank u KG, this remix is levels, took this song into a whole new world and it’s been going off at all the shows!!”
