The new remix from Galliano ‘Pleasure, Joy & Happiness (musclecars remix)’ is out today. ‘musclecars’ have elevated the already incredible track ‘Pleasure, Joy & Happiness’, which was released on their latest album ‘Halfway Somewhere’ earlier last year, to a new 90s House extreme. The release will also come alongside an instrumental of the remix.
Speaking on the creation of the track, musclecars tell us; “We wanted to give this a real 90’s NYC house feel, with additional instrumentation to really bring on that euphoric sense of pleasure, joy, and happiness, that Rob & Val were singing about. Big shout out to them for being open to doing additional vocal runs for our remix. Think it really gave the track new life!”
Rob Gallagher from Galliano adds that the remix is “Brooklyn’s finest work over the Eddie Chacon classic to sit on the Dance floor with that New York underground stamp. Already a mainstay of the Galliano live set, this remix gives the song yet more legs to explore the outer reaches. When is a song not a song? When it’s a Millipede….”
