In very exciting news, our very own Emma-Jean Thackray will be supporting Kamasi Washington on his tour through the UK, Ireland and EU.
Strangely, Emma-Jean was supposed to support him at a show in Paris for Red Bull Music Academy in 2015, but that show was cancelled due to the saddening attacks in Paris.
Now, 10 years later, it’s finally happening! Emma-Jean tells us she “can’t wait to bring the solo show to all the Kamasi lovers out there […] to warm up your souls for his epic sound. See you there!”
