Gilles Peterson hand picks 2 producers close to his heart to rework tracks from STR4TA’s STR4TASFEAR LP. On the A-side Venom turns ’To Be As One’ into a dubbed-out, spacey four-to-the-floor groover while staying true to the Brit-Funk DNA of the original. On the B-side, up-and-coming London producer Wallace, who has been setting the city alight recently with a string of releases and appearances with the formidable Rhythm Section, turns in a bouncy house flip of Lazy Days (feat. Emma-Jean Thackray).

This release is another instalment in a long line of bass heavy club versions of Brit-Funk 12s. Best enjoyed on your closest friendly, neighbourhood soundsystem.
